Soil is the only magical material that gives Life to the dead, our very life on this planet depends on how rich the soil beneath our feet is, According to Scientist the rate of land degradation is at an alarming rate, the microorganism that gives life to the Soil are all dying due to some human practices that is causing land degradation, this is a treat to the all living species on this planet and therefore we need to have a critical look at how together, we can find solutions to the situation at hand.
There is a saying “Your environment defines you”, Ninety Percent (90%) of the problems affecting the environment in the negative way is caused by our way of Life. Our food is losing the nutrients it contains, the air we breathe into our system is filled with dust which is causing a lot of harm to our system. Environmental degradation is causing a lot of disease which is also affecting our way of being. If we take care of the environment by changing our way of Life, the environment will take care of us.
We have managed to take care of everything we think we need to survive on this planet, but we’ve forgotten the very basis of our Life, THE SOIL. The first twelve (12) to sixteen (16) inches of the soil is the basis of Life on this Planet. As people we have to take it upon ourselves to take care of our environment so that we can live a Healthy and a happy peaceful Life.
Save Blue Earth is a non-Governmental Organization which is focused on creating awareness on how we can change our way of Life to transform the Environment into a healthy place to live in. Our goal in to create a healthy environmental for the current and the future generation, because if we don’t build a good foundation for the next generation the even they will not be a basis upon which they can survive.
Save Blue Earth Organization has three (3) main core values upon which we hope to impact the society. These 3 values are 1. Greening the Planet, 2. Tree Planting, 3. Fight Climate Change. Our Greening Program is designed to restore degraded land, improve soil fertility, increase water availability, reduce the risk of floods and droughts and provide an eco-friendly environment and better habitat for wildlife.
Secondly, The Tree Planting solution helps heal damaged landscapes while also providing economic opportunities for local communities. We use science-based approaches to ensure that our trees are planted in the right places for maximum survival and impact.
Lastly, the greening programs also help Fight Climate Change by trapping carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and storing it in the soil. This helps reduce global warming, ensuring a more sustainable future for generations to come.
